Hi,

Usage: JClass Pagelayout

I am trying to create 2 tables in 2 different frames in the same page using JCtable,JCFrame. There is some or other issue popping up while coding for insertion of the tables in the frames. If the records are more than 100, they are displayed in the same page in the 2nd frame instead of going to the next page. Also, the 2nd table records are inserted from the last record of the first table.

Could someone help me in this regard: Basically i want 2 tables to be displayed in 2 frames in the same page...if the records in the table exceed the page size they should be displayed in the second page and so on...

Thanks
Ashwin

I'm not sure what "in the same Page" means - are you trying to print the frames out? Or are you trying to get frames to somehow use a layout manager to control where they are on the desktop?

Hi Nate,

Yes, I am trying to print the frames out. I want to print 2 JCFrames using in a single page using JClass pagelayout. So, i have written the code so that it would generate a pdf and print 2frames in each page. These 2 frames will contain JCPageTables which would flow vertically spanning multiple pages printing all the rows.

Now i got a temporary fix by restricting the rows in the table as per the frame size using a for loop. But if i want to print the table without using the for loop so that it would print all the rows in one shot, then the rows are printed in the 2nd frame of the same page instead of the next page. I am still working on this issue.

Please let me know if you have an idea to fix this permanently.

still working using xml templates...but no luck

Thanks
Ashwin
