Calling a Excel Macro from a JSP or HTML

Hi,
Could any of advice whats the way to call a Excel macro residing on a Web Server or Application Server from a JSP page or HTML page. I know using VB Script we can call the excel macros.
But in JSP we cannot write VB code.
Appreciate all your help.
