it would be mush easier to read the documentation which
comes with that.....or so i think because even I have no
clue and would have done that first .....
I don't mean to be harsh or anything, but just think abt it...

Though in Servlet API 2.2, the dir structure of a Web appln is standardised, there is no std defined as to where to deploy the web appln. It is left upto the servlet containers. Please refer to the Docs of the servers. It will be surely explained since it is very important where to deploy the resurces.
