Accessing a printer on the client side using a servlet

Hi all ,
I should print a report ( html form ) . I cannot use the print button of the browser . I will have a html button on the same page itself on pressing this button the report should be printed . Advance thanks to anybody who helps me .

This cannot be done with server-side programming. If for whatever reason you cannot use the print function of the browser (why?), you probably need to use some kind of client-side scripting language (JavaScript or VBScript), or ActiveX control to accomplish this.

Sorry, I don't know too much Javascript... In my pocket reference, I just found out that the Window object contains a print() method, which is apparently only supported in Netscape Navigator and not in IE. Not sure if there's a way to do this in IE at all...
