Emergency, help please

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
I am using TOMCAT. I am trying to connect a RMI server in my servlets. In order to do that, I have to specify the java VM interpreter parameter -Djava.sercurity.policy=d:\\ctx\\java.policy.
I tried to do this in tomcat.property, but it didn't work.
Whenever my servlet tried to make a RMI, the server reports a Socket....error.
Please tell me how to do that.

i thought tomcat was just a container not an application server.

I wish there was a button on my monitor to turn up the intellegince.
Theres a button called 'brightness' but it doesn't work

yes, but you should still be able to make RMI calls from software run using it. It's one of the big selling points of Servlets that they can use all of the Java APIs.
