cant see servlet in browser

i compiled java file and try to run on browser with url .i am using window95 what could be the problem isit not recongnizing localhost or something else plz advisehttp://localhost:8080/servlet/my servlet.do i need to start something else other than servletrunner.
it was not showing anything at all
