Is it right to compile a servlet in jdk/bin directory with 'javac myservlet.java' command and then copy it to
webapps/web-inf/classes directory and execute it from browser?

instead of doing that way u can simply set path= x:\jdk..\bin
if ur using windows platform in ur autoexec.bat file or
u can run the same on command line to set the path
and then u can compile ur program in which ever directory u want
