Hi folks,
I want to set IIS as my webserver with tomcat. All of my servlets, jsps, and htmls will be with tomcat and I want IIS to pick all the files from tomcat and send it to the client.
I want to know how to configure IIS 5.0 and TOMCAT(3.2.1) for the same.
Please let me know at the earliest..
thanx in advance
bye

There is an entire document on this topic at the jakarta.apache.org website.
http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/jakarta-tomcat/src/doc/tomcat-iis-howto.html

Hi,
First of all thanx for posting replies...
I have read the document and followed the steps mentioned in it But it did'nt work.
I m not getting the green up arrow in isapi filter. I have downloaded isapi_redirect.dll from http://testdrive.mapinfo.com/techsupp/miprod.nsf..
I get the following message in the log file
[jk_worker.c (164)]: wc_create_worker NULL factory for ajp13
[jk_worker.c (239)]: build_worker_map failed to create workerajp13
The same message is repeating several times...
Please let me know where I have gone wrong..

Hi,
I got the Green Up arrow now. I made a virtual directory with name jakarta and have given physical path of isapi_redirect.dll as executable.
Now after setting up the environment for tomcat 3.2.1 I am able to access my servlet directly. I have tested IIS 5.0 by giving http://mymachinename it works fine.
Now I want to call my servlet thru IIS. What URL should I give in my HTML so that I could invoke the .class file.
Its Urgent.. Please reply soon...
