passing vector and hashtables in query string

Can v pass Vector and hashtables from one jsp prg to another useing query string or by any other means.
if yes, how to send them?
and how can i retrieve the same in the second jsp prg.
if possible kindly give the gist code also

If your JSPs are part of the same application, I strongly recommend that you keep the data on the server and don't send it to the client at all. This is what the session information is for. Look up Sessions or HttpSession in your Java reference books or web sites for more information and examples.

the result will not be on the client side but will very much remain on the server but i want to distribut the load between 2 prg instard of putting the load, on the single prg for both display the records as well as retriving the records.
kindly let me know how can i go bout this.
