Shut down servlet

I want to shut down a particular servlet, but not the server. Basicaly, some configuration file information will be changed for the servlet. I want someway to reload those information into the servlet.

You need to tell what server you are using.
E.g., IBM's WebSphere GUI admin window has "STOP" and "RUN" buttons to start and stop a servlet (or the whole server).
