Netscape not finding servlets

This is going to seem like a netscape question (and it probably is), but I think this is an appropriate place for it.
My server guy set up Tomcat to run on port 6000. Folks who try to use Netscape invoke the servlets with http://servername.com:6000/etc., get: "Sorry, access to the port number given has been disabled for security reasons." It's certainly not disabled on the server. The MS browser works fine.
We're running IIS and Tomcat.
Has anyone run into this problem? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

For anyone who cares, this turned out to be a Netscape bug. We just changed the port to 5000, and the problem was fixed.
