Hello,
I have installed the Java Web Server 2.0 on my office machine but when I click on the httpd.exe file in the bin directory the command prompt window appears for a sec and then disappears.
The same server I have installed on my home pc and its working fine. I have even reinstalled the server but with no positive results.
Please Help
Regards
Muffazal

You need to check the expiry date(validity) of the Javawebserver2.0.If the expiry date is over, uninstall it completely and again install from the dump,or you can download the evaluation version from the net and try it.

Thanks& Regards

Try to start javawebserver using the dos prompt to get the error message
IF its due to expiry then you have to get new one
Also check if any other service is running on port 8080 may be IIS if it is then stop that service
also check http://localhost:8080/
if you get error message then its fine otherwise there is some service running on port 80
