Hello !!
I have a site ready on servlets and tested through JSDK on my desktop PC. Now I have to upload it on the net at a commercial Unix server. Please tell what all I suugest the owner of the server to do for running the servlets application without investing a single penny.
It is urgent and I am in a mess !!!-

You'll have to have an application server running on the unix box to serve up the servlets. If you want free and solid go for an Apache/Tomcat solution (http://www.apache.org/).
Look in the archives of this group for more info on this.

Be aware that JSDK is NOT compatible with the most recent Servlet API. Tomcat 3.2 is the current servlet engine at Apache and is compatible with servlet API 2.2 and JSP API 1.1
SO - stuff that worked under JSDK may not under Tomcat.
