Try the following Tomcat setup instructions: http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/jakarta-tomcat/src/doc/uguide/tomcat_ug.html
These instructions are also included in the tomcat download.

You may also want to use the JavaRanch search function to check previous posts about Tomcat Installation.
Hope this helps,
Joe

This is a step-by-step worksheet, most people who tried think it works! (from all the emails I got)
How to make your first JSP page work on Tomcat?

After setting up all the environment variables for tomcat i am getting an error when i try to startup tomcat. The error i get is this.
C:\JDK1.3\bin\bin\Java but i don't even have this directory set up like this i only have \bin that's all. The error states it can't find a file or one of it's components.
