I want to make sure I understand something....If I tell tomcat to listen on Port 80, then IIS can't listen to Port 80. Is this true?
So I have to shutdown IIS if I am switching tomcat to Port 80...?

You are correct - only one application can listen at a port at one time.

And is there no way to have IIS 'listen' to port 80 and then hand off any .jsp stuff to tomcat?
