I have a jsp page that calls a database and gets a series of hyperlinks after extracting user info. from the request header.
I can get the page to complie without a problem from behind the firewall. However, I can't seem to get the page to compile now that I've opened port 80 on my development server so outside users can take a crack at it. Has anyone had similar problems?
The environment I'm in is NT 4.0/IIS 4.0 with IBM's WebSphere as a servlet container. I'm having IIS enforce NTFS permissions by prompting the user for credentials. Once this is complete, I find out who the user is and query the database. Initial testing tells me that none of the java code in the jsp is compiling.
Thanks,
Rob
