I have perused other books but
I w'd strongly recommend this book:
Web developent with Java server pages (from Manning)
-duane k fields et all.
It's just too good.
Core servlets and Java server pages (from SUN)
--marty hall
is also supposed to be good. But I w'd strongly recommend
the first one. Very simple, clear and concise.

In my opinion, you should learn servlet first, since JSP is based on Servlet (same API).
