Wow, what a surprise! I need a little non-fattening sweetener in my life at the moment. My son, Kevin, has been praising Ruby/Rails for the last year - so this book will clue me in at last.

Thanks to all concerned.

Thank you for the statistics. This goes to show you only need one post to win!

As a reminder to everyone, we use a program to pick the winners that randomly picks 4 winners from amongst the posts. More posts = more chances to win.

Yes Burt (or # 142628 Sree Va?) , it was a real surprise to me. As you say in your signature: "Every soul is a sun covered over with clouds of ignorance". And I was very ignorant about this win. All I did was to thank some other guy Sree VA for his useful link. Anyway it's a good thing that Sree did not win because I think the book I won is a paper book and Sree does not like paper books at all. Well that's statistics for you!

Burt, by the way I just loved that film about your namesake - the film about the (Red-) Indian motorcycle. I really admire the real Burt Munro and, of course, Anthony Hopkins who played him.

Are Thank you posts eligible ? I think Barry's only post was a "Thank you" post.
