regarding form submit

Hi Guys,
I have a query, i want a functionality that when i submit the form and the requset goes to the servlet, i want a message like your request is being processed to be displayed to the user while the request is being processed in the background by the servlet and when the request has been processed then show the user the respective jsp.HOw is that possible, please advice me.

you could performs your work in a low-priority background thread, returning only the results you have so far or maybe just a "processing..." statement.
If these results are not complete, send a Refresh header instructing the browser to ask for new results a little while later.
