I am trying to set the environment for tomcat by changing in c:\autoexec.bat and my contents of autoexe.bat are:
C:\PROGRA~1\NETWOR~1\MCAFEE~1\BOOTSCAN.EXE C:\
@IF ERRORLEVEL 1 PAUSE
@ECHO OFF

IF EXIST C:\PIPOST.BAT CALL C:\PIPOST.BAT > NUL
IF EXIST C:\PIPOST.BAT DEL C:\PIPOST.BAT > NUL

SET PATH = c:\jakarta-tomcat\bin;
SET JAVA_HOME = c:\jdk1.3\bin
SET TOMCAT_HOME = c:\tomcat
SET CLASSPATH = %classpath%;c:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar
doskey

SET PATH=%PATH%;C:\PROGRA~1\NETWOR~1\MCAFEE~1

and I am executing by c:\autoexec.bat
and when I try to see the change in path in MSDOS-PROMPT, it shows me the old one I have rebooted my machine too.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
