hello all,
I am trying to push a lot of data to the client and what its doing is that it almost freezes jRun for sometime and then after a long wait it finally makes it to the browser. I was wondering if i shld do the progress bar thing that many websites have, so that the user can see some indication of the process being still alive and then when its all done pushing it all to the client. How do you implement that? is it done by refreshing the indicator page again and again to see if the page is ready?
also will increasing the buffer size help?
This will take every ounce of my mental strength! All for a tiny ad:
