Hi,
I am trying to use ISO-8859-9 charset. I submit that page from
person_new.jsp to person_insert.jsp.
I have checked the parameters by using
System.out.println(request.getQueryString());
I got values like %FD, %FE etc like that for non standart characters.
EX: person_insert.jsp?person_name=%FDxyz%FE
it is ok
but when I use
String person_n=request.getParameter("person_name");
I lose all the character encodings and I got meaningless values.
For non-standart characters.
How can I use Unicode vales?
I want to use \u0131 instead %FD
How can I do that please help me.

OK, here is one solution:
<%@ page contentType="text/html; charset=UTF-8" %>
I think it should work.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
