my server is J2EE1.2.1
when i write the program and it works fine on my machine, but when my partner runs the program (i keep running), there is an error 500 message shown:
Internal Servlet Error:
"javax.servlet.ServletException" and
"java.lang.NullPointerException" are thrown
then i redeploy the program and let only my partner runs it, it still works fine, but after i also run the program (my partner keeps running), the message shown again, it seems that my program can't support multi-user. Would anyone help me?
Thx a lot

HI,
Your error is normal please confirm the following points,
1.) By default servlet which extends HttpServlet is multi threading . if check you are handing your own thread, then make is multitreaded.........
2.) check if you are using session tracking..... see whether session variable contains value or looses very frequntly.
Your error is becouse some var i.e attribute value is null....
Hope this will help you.
Bye,
Bhu
