Hello,
I work with a JSP which processes and insert into a database data contained in a HTML form and this form contains check boxes. With the assistance of Javascript, I am able to check if my boxes are checked or not. Is it possible to take a Javascript variable and integrate it into our JSP code ? Can i insert JSP tags in the Javascript code in order to process the data? if i can do it, how is it possible?
Thank you very much in advance.
Have a nice day.
Jeff

Any processing on the browser side will have to be done by Javascript, but you can certainly write Javascript with your JSP.
My advice is to proceed in a stepwise fashion, with fake data instead of real database data at first. You might even start with entirely HTML + Javascript - the more layers you add the harder it is to debug.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
