Hello, I am working in Jsp, I want to make voice chat, and using Java Media Framework. I have it's documentation about Capturing voice devices. To make this project I have a bit idea that I will have to capture sound card. I have API of this in JAVA JMF. but I donot know how to start capturing device. or what to do first capture device then create socket. Please Guide me about it ------------------ Thanx.......... ------------------
I would certainly work in servlets instead of JSP. Transmission of sound files requires sending binary data, not character data. I actually did a demo of a servlet sending sound files in my servlets book. I can't help you on the recording end though. Bill
