Hi, i am trying to write a simple stress test module similar to the commercial package (LoadRunner) to evaluate the scability of the servlet and jsp. Of course, it is a lightweight testing tool compared to LoadRunner. I am at the designing step now. I cannot figure out a concrete idean on how to generate more than on unique users from a single computer. The idea is to generate as many virtual user as possible using the limited resources(ie. Memory etc.) Can somebody provide any valueble suggestion or opinion? Thanks a lot. If i can come out with such work, i am more than happy to share the code for everybody.

You might want to check out OpenSTA at www.opensta.org. It's a free open source stress test application.
