Hi Liju,
I don't know why people keep trying to use jsdk.
Any one would advise you to use tomcat. it is easy to install and much more reliable.
Just go to the following link, and tell if problem occured. http://webappcabaret.com/javachina/tomcathowto.htm
Regards,
Jimi.

Jimi is right. You better you Tomcat. However, if you prefer some lightweight application, you may try jwsdk. If you insist on using jsdk2.X. you just have to change the Classpath in your environmental variable. A shortcut but not a good habit is to copy the servlet.jar from the new version and paste it in the directory of the old jsdk. Probably you prefer jsdk is because you can use servletrunner which comsume less system resources than Tomcat.

And I'd add: If you don't think Tomcat is 'lightweight' you should try using iPlanet Web Server.

Tomcat is hands down... the easiest thing to use, ever.

Gotta make this a sweep here......I had the jsdk on my laptop (nothing but problems) & tomcat on my main machine.......what a difference! Tomcat is without a doubt 1000% easier to use & I have yet to get a compiler problem........
