Comparing JSP With Servlet  RSS feed

I am able to state the advanges of using JSP over Servlet. I would like to know what the DISADVANTAGES of using JSP over Servlet are. Need your contribution. Thanks

Servlets and JSP are good at different things. While JSP provides clear division between presentation and content, servlet is good for things that are not purely for content, like processing. Also, servlets is much easier to debug.

Cameron is right..
jsp is hard to debug because it is very high level, but in terms of programming, it is easier as it could be used by page designers. while servlets are used by developers.
servlet is used to extend the server side functionality as it makes several applications possible. while jsp is supposed to support the interface view. jsp could contain java code also, but it is considered as a bad design if it contains a lot of code.
They are used together in most web applications that are implemented using java.
