Hi,
If you have a look at http://industry.java.sun.com/products/jdbc/drivers
you can enter your requirements and see what might be available meeting your needs.
I did a quick check and found two for JDBC 2.x ( www.uniset.ru and www.j-netdirect.com ) and 1 for JDBC 1.x ( www.j-netdirect.com)

if u find type 4.

I'm going thru the same thinh, looking for type 4.
The one I downloaded from www.j-netdirect.com
is for MS SQL server.
Nothing mentioned for MS Access connection.
