Hi all !
According to jsp model2 architecture the jsp should be presentation centric. But on this forum i see messages in which people are doing some really heavy work with jsps using lot of java code in jsp. So this really confuses me.
Now should i really stick to model 2 architectue and make presentation centric jsps or not.
Regards

yes, you should. There are some cases where you can not avoid java in your jsp page but overall, if you can delegate all your java code to beans or custom tags, it makes for better structure

Believe him! My original EJBWizard JSP generator tried to do it all in the JSP and the results were horrible! You couldn't edit the HTML without breaking the EJB-handling code and vice versa. I'm glad I finally came up with a way that moved the logic to a support class - although I lost the convenience of having everything in one place, I gained more by having maintainable objects!
