Hi
I am currently on the Geekwatch assignment, but am not sure how to return the current date. There is a Calender.getTime() method which returns a Date object, but I have looked on the J2 API and cannot find what fields there are. Am I on the right tracks? Am I supposed to use another method which requires using the milliseconds since Jan 1 1970? Please help- I am lost.
Also I was intrigued with the different names used, such as bartender, ranch hand, sheriff etc .... what do these mean?
Thanks
Yen

yen, take another look at the Java 2 API to see what the Date class will do for you... if you create a new Date object, there is a method that will return the milliseconds.
also, you will get better results if you ask this question in the Cattle Drive forum
