Dinner time for these pups :
Polaris ate more than Sirius ; Castor ate less than Pollux ; Pollus ate less than Sirius but more than Rigel. Which pup ate the second most ?
And which pup was the leanest eater ? (ate the least)

According to my calculations:
Sirius ate the second most; there is not enough information to tell whether Castor or Rigel was the leanest eater....

Right, Joel. I just noticed a typo - Pollus should have been Pollux.
What do the pups names have in common ?

C < Px
R < Px < S
These are derived from above:
C < S
R < S
C < P
R < P
As far as I can tell, there is no relationship between C and R that will definitively say that one ate less than the other.
btw... these are all constellations.
