From where to start

Hei ranchers,
I m a new cowhand in this forum and just passed SCJP. I want to know of some good reference books and sites to start learning JSP and Servlet and design my own site with them. Would u kindly mention some....

I started by reading 'Java Server Pages And Servlets' by Mark Wutka of Wutka Consutling. It helped me a lto and I picked up some cool tips from it.
However, nowadays you do not need a book to learn anything. All the stuff you need is available from the net. You just have to search a bit more. I personally feel at home here at Javaranch and I don't have to go anywhere else for information because people here are so kind in offering their help!

Java Servlet Programming by Jason Hunter is AWESOME. He covers all of the topics ( from theory to implementation ) that most other authors assume you know. You can get it from www.servlets.com
It's helped me tremendously.
