Strip Parameters before Forwarding?

There are certain times when I would like to strip the parameters of a request, after I have dealt with them, but before (or while) I forward using a dispatcher. Is there any way to delete or remove parameters selectively?
I seem to remember doing this before (maybe), but I can't seem to find the code where I did it. Thanks.

Heh... I'm kicking myself now. I was fooled by the fact that there are getters and setters for attributes, but only getters for parameters. Well, that's what I'll tell myself anyway.
