Hi,
I have a JSP page with a form. The form contains three drop down boxes. Now the page output depends on what is selected from the three drop down menus. I want the page to tell which ones have been selected, so the output is formatted properly. TIA.

umm... they're part of a form, right?

request.getParameter("nameOfDropDownOne") comes to mind

yes, i've been using the request.getParameter, but not very good with it. How do I check for null or empty string?
