Need to pass data to a servlet and pass that on  RSS feed

Hi,
Need help.
I need to pass data from a browser to a servlet which will foward that request on to a remote server then it will return a response to the servlet invoked which will build the page for the client

Sounds like you don't really want to forward the request in the usual sense, because you want the response to come back to the servlet. Absolutely nothing prevents you from using a URL to address another server and fake a browser request.
