Hello All,
Can anyone point me towards information regarding deploying web applications with tomcat. I've almost completed my first servlet/jsp project and now have to deal with getting it working on the target server. To me this seems to be the most intimidating part of the whole process. I've developed the project with Jbuilder so can organize everything in a WAR file, but am unsure of where to put it what to do with the jdbc driver(postgres) and such. Any help would be great
Cheers
Randy

Hi,
Put the JDBC driver in the /lib directory and put that in your CLASSPATH.
I havent tried using a WAR file deployment yet so I'll be watching the answers for info.
Hope that helps,
Terry

If you install Tomcat on your system, then simply place that *.war file in the webapps directory, and it will be deployed automatically when you start Tomcat.

Also, Tomcat itself has good documentation.
