Hi,
I am running Tomcat 4.0. In my servlets, i printout few lines to debug using System.out.println(). Where can see these printings? In 3.x version, the printings can be seen from regular console, which i use to start Tomcat. Can somebody help me out?
Regards,

There is a directory named "logs" in CATALINA_HOME directory.

Look in the catalina.out file and catalina_access.log

One is for System.out.println()'s and one is for the error stack trace.

I'm against the use of System.out's etc in web apps since they are handled in a non-standard way between containers. Personally I always use an explicit logging mechanism. Although I haven't used it yet, Log4J is meant to be a handy thing.

Dave.
