I have a rather large form that is generated on the fly by a servlet using the session variables from the user. Once and a while (not too often) The form is drawn like pastels in the rain! The main servlet is only 300 lines long or so but the class file that actually draws the form is 700++ lines. Is the size of this class file causing this or is it just a fluke thing with the browser these different people are using. It has never personally happened to me but I did have a friend send me a screen shot of it ...what a mess!! I also cut the source code out of the form and made it an HTML file, validated it and it is perfect.....DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE because Im completely out of theories! One other thing...the reason this form is soooo long is that 90% of it is done with <select> inputs to control user input.

Get that user to send you the source, and not just a screenshot.

From your description of the problem, it seems to be a rendering problem, and not just badly placed elements? This would usually be a browser issue. And we all know computers, right? Install and uninstall enough software, and eventually something will break a bit.

For example, my install of IE5.5 sometimes renders a fuzzy thin line through the middle of www.hotmail.com 's front page. Mostly when my window is maximized. I doubt it's hotmail's fault.
