Dear ALL
i have a question about how and invoke servlet in Tomcat
assuming
in tomcat
should put classfile into
../folderforclassfile
then if my ProcessData1.class has package com.b2win.auction
then i should put it like
../folderforclassfile/com/b2win/auction/DataProcess1.class
right?
assuming server's ip is 172.16.10.196
then
how to invoke it?
like this?
setclasspath=../folderforclassfile/com/b2win/auction
then
action="http://172.16.10.196:8080/deaultfolder/DataProcess1"
Thx in advance

A slightly more useful document is this one: http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-3.2-doc/appdev/index.html

In short, don't fool with your CLASSPATH! the 'Missing Link' is you don't have a servlet mapping.

Refer to this post for details on setting up your web.xml and servlet-mappings: http://www.javaranch.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/006859.html
