I am getting a strange problem
i am using java script submit button to go to a particular page. and in that page i am checking for the header. it is working fine with netscape as i am able to retrieve the header information and know from which page the request has come from. but in IE this does n't work. the referer is simply null.
i am doing
<input type="button" class=subm value="Back.." onClick="javascript arent.location.href='/vc/definition/index.jsp"> ption=business'">
in the first page and
String ref = (String)request.getHeader("Referer");
in the destination page.
when i do System.out.println("ref")
with netscape i am getting it fine as
and in IE it is
can any body help me to find a solution.
