Paul
I have recently registered at electronic porkchop web site and came across your Class on Java development. I realize that the class started several weeks ago, but was wondering if was still possible to join in. I have been "playing" with Java on my own for about a year now, but would really like to get involved in a structed learning process where I could work with others and bounce questions and ideas off of. I would naturally complete all the previous homework assignments and email them to you.
Thanks
Peter

My work here is to:

  • dream up assignments and reading
  • correct homework

  • I see no reason why it has to be on any kind of schedule.
So far, all of the participating students are sending me homework on their own schedule. Some are on class 1, some on class two and some on class 3. When someone completes class 3, I'll make a class 4.
Take your time if you want. If you want to learn Java fast and you have a lot of time, I could probably do the work for two classes a week.
Just please ask your questions here and not in my e-mail. This way, I answer the question once instead of over and over in my e-mail.
