Lets say I stored a session object in a request, based on a username. That means that in one sense, I dont know what the names of my variables could be cause I would not know the usernames. But, I have a jsp that submits stuff to a servlet. And if there is a mistake the Servlet kicks the request back to the jsp with any chnages to the request that the servlet made. But when the jsp submits stuff to the servlet, it is a new request. But I want to be able to re-submit that same request that the server modified along with the changes that the jsp made.
****************
A jsp passes username/password. If they dont match the servlet creates a variable with the name of that username if it does not already exists. If it does increment it if it does not create it and set the value to 1. Well I want it to keep track of all users in the request until the username/passwords match.
Please Help

you could use hidden fields in your form at the jap page.
in these hidden fields store your rquest varuiables and that way they are transmited every time to the servlet.
