Hello,
My Servlet in Websphere 3.02, makes an upload from a file with 1.5M, and the processing time has 2 minutes.
When the server get a file, the servlet calls a stored procedure, after
the processing, the servlet calls a jsp to show the result. When the
processing time of the stored procedure is larger than 2 minutes, the
browser shows the following message: "The page cannot be displayed"
but my servlet continues working in my server and it has to redirect to
jsp, but in this moment the connection with the browser is killed.
I have modified my timeout properties in httpd.conf and it didnt work.
How can I keep the connection between the server and the browser? Is
there any change that I can make in my Websphere?
Thanks for the Help.

That is a timeout setting on the browser side. You are going to have to redisign so that something gets sent to the browser to keep it happy. I think there was a long Thread here about that not long ago, try searching for "timeout".
