Can i invoke a servlet at a specified time.
ie the servlet will only be loaded at the time specified.

Typically a servlet is loaded when it is first accessed unless you have specified a load on startup for the server. You could have a timed process that tries to access the servlet.
Once loaded, it is up to the servlet engine as to whether or not the servlet is discarded. What sort of application do you have in mind?

hi,
what i intend to do is at the end of day based on certain data create some messages and put it in a message queue so that message bean reads it.
