Hi Abdul! There's this nice book from Marty Hall called "Core Servlets and JSPs". Not only is it comprehensive and easy to read, you can get it for free! The PDF version of the book is available here: http://pdf.coreservlets.com/
Goodluck!

How about downloading tomcat server to run your servlets or jsps.
You can also download LWS for my site at
http://www.geocities.com/adil7plus4> note that tomcat 4.0 at the site is not functional.
Some tutorial which may help you are at my site at http://www.geocities.com/adiljunc/JavaFiles/ServletJsp/

You can get tomcat from http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/
I think the latest is 4.1.12
You can get the configurations and guide from the www.geocities.com/adiljunc/.... link given above. The files are in zip format...

Abdul begin with the book on the web site above:www.coreservlets.com. For the difference between servlet and jsp, do a search here....it has been discussed several times.
