Hi,
I installed Tomcat 4.0 and get my servlets up and running. But everytime I modify my servlet and update the class files, the web page won't pick up the new changes after I reload the web page. I need to bounce Tomcat to see the changes.
Is there any configuration I can do to Tomcat for it to pick up the updated class files automatically?
Thanks!
Mike.

You can use the manager app to have tomcat reload your app for you after you've recompiled your classes.
Alternatively, you can also set the context as reloadable in the server.xml file too. I've had some issues withthis not always picking up changes and had to use the manager app or even start and stop tomcat occasionally.

Moved from Servlets -> Apache/Tomcat

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
