when i was in high school (86 - 90) we had drive-thru liquor stores here in Atlanta, Georgia... one in particular was very slack on asking high school students for proof of age. of course, that man is in jail now and his store has been closed for about 10 years.
they still have one in south Georgia where i went to college, but that is a very small town. the store owner's brother is the local sheriff
