In Tomcat 3.2 i was able (as I understood I should be) to throw my own exception, set an error page for it, and check that exception on the error page. Well, in tomcat 4.1.18 I am doing the same, but now even though it goes to my error page correctly, I cannot get/catch my error. It's been changed into a JasperException (and YES I tried the getRootCause() about 50 times, but it's a JasperException ALL the way down forever). Is this with the sepc? How do I know it threw my exception to that page versus another?
