Can anyone recommend a good source for Ruby On Rails documentation that describes the engineering behind the automation of the HTML form generation and database access process. Most of the publications I have seen are pitched at application developers rather than sys admins.

Hi Patrick,

Regarding ActiveRecord (the engine responsible for mapping a typical Rails application's database schema to objects), I'm afraid the most comprehensive documentation is the RDoc for ActiveRecord. (Scroll down for the "simple example" sections)

I'm not sure how HTML form generation relates to sysadmins' work, though?
